Join us for a fun-filled afternoon to learn about our life with water in a hands-on and active environment!
Thank you to all Perth Partners!

The Perth Children’s Water Festival provides a hands-on learning environment for families from Perth County to learn about the importance of water in their lives and communities. This fun and educational event focuses on five water-based themes: water conservation, water protection, water science, water technology, and water attitude.
The Perth Children’s Water Festival is held in different communities throughout Perth County on an annual basis. Previous Perth Children’s Water Festivals were held in Stratford (2022), Mitchell (2023) and Listowel (2024). More than 1500 people have attended the Festivals over the years. This year’s Perth Children’s Water Festival will be held at Milt Dunnell Field in St. Marys on Sunday, May 25th from 1 – 4 pm. The event will include over 20 family-friendly activity stations as well as Bird of Prey shows from the Canadian Raptor Conservancy.

The Festival is a local community event, and the 2025 Organizing Committee includes representatives from the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, Town of St. Marys, Avon Maitland District School Board, Huron Perth Catholic District School Board, Huron Perth Public Health, Ontario Clean Water Agency, Ontario Federation of Agriculture, St. Marys Cement, Thames River Clean Up, and interested community members Pat Donnelly and Don Gibson. The Festival relies on generous volunteer and financial support from the community. The Organizing Committee appreciates any financial and/or volunteer support your organization can provide to assist in the implementation of the Festival.
